This title is appropriate since I have three different reflections to share. Educators please, let us remember the many families who lost their loved ones this past weekend in our prayers. There are simply no words to convey or imagine the pain many families are walking through at this point. We can also contribute to the efforts of helping the wounded victims who are in the hospital. There is a high need for blood and here is where we can help spread the word on donating blood. Blood can be donated either through Oneblood -1888-936-6283- or your local Red Cross.
This coming Sunday, June 19th is Father’s Day! It’s always a special time to celebrate the great men in our lives. My captivation for my husband as a doting father grows with each passing year. Though, our daughters are now adults, the father-daughter bond is stronger than ever. It’s a beautiful blessing to witness. Thanks to face time, our family tradition of expressing our love, honor, appreciation and gratitude to Dad for this special day continues. Happy Father’s Day to my incredible husband! Grateful to God for the gift you are! Happy Father’s Day to my Dad, blood brothers, brothers in Christ, our community fathers, pastors, colleagues and mentors. Your impact is commendable! Summer time is always a good time to learn something new. This year, I am doing inductive study on two books of the Bible, brushing up my Spanish, and learning some new aspects of Deep Learning. For many students and adults learning the English language, summer time is a good time to dedicate more time to acquiring English language skills. One way to do this is through interactive programs that are appropriate for adult learners. One of my colleagues has a program called English Discoveries that can be helpful to anyone learning English.
