Our nation is on the verge of an awakening shift. A shift that will propagate the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ as never before. Prayer is going forth from God’s house to the marketplace. The movie War Room came just at God’s appointed time igniting the hearts of people to the power available when people pray. God answers prayer whether from a follower of Jesus or an unbeliever. If you have not seen the movie, this is a reinforcement to go see it and share with your friends what you gleaned from it. For two months now my wife and I, have had the blessing of gathering in prayer with some dear friends who are passionate about an awakening for America. We have hope for America! There is hope for America in Jesus Christ.
Our ministry has been blessed to work with ministries and organizations that believe there is hope for America. This hope comes in a variety of ways. One such way we are gearing up for is sending the Word of God to our military men and women around the world. This coming Christmas many of our military men and women fighting for the freedom of people in dangerous parts of the world, will receive a signed Christmas card from our family with a Bible. Our troops abroad are desperate for God’s word of hope and comfort. We can step in and give the gift of hope to these brave men and women.
The Word of God is a source of supernatural strength, guidance, peace and comfort. Imagine how God can use His word to bring comfort to a young father who left to serve our nation and has never held his newborn baby. Encouragement like Joshua 1:9 “ Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” will be a boost of strength to this young father as he protects the freedom of others far away from home.
There is a high demand for the Word of God in many countries around the world that don’t have easy access to the Bible. What would happen if every person were able to receive the Bible in his or her own language? Wycliffe Bible Translators are doing a remarkable work translating the Bible into different languages and form that people groups understand. Imagine the revelations that would come through the Holy Spirit to each person reading the scriptures in his or her language. There are no limitations to what our God can do. He is full of power and majestic in His ways.
