“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3: 5-6).
As my beautiful wife, daughters and I prepare to finish out this year and decade, I came across my last post of 2011 in my notebook. Though the actual Christmas celebrations have come and gone. To retailers worldwide, they are counting all the profits made and analyzing the most effective innovations this year. For believers who have been saved by grace and washed in the cleansing blood of the Lamb, Christmas is a continuous celebration of our regenerated life because of Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection. Christmas gives us a reference point of continuous thanksgiving for the salvation of our souls.
The Psalmist said, “What shall I render to God for all His benefits towards me.” (Psalm 116:12)
As we take the inventory of following God’s blueprint in 2019, my wife and I are counting our blessings, naming it one by one and giving God all the glory for what He has done. Blessings of answered prayers (not just for family, but also for the over 2500 prayer requests that came into Oasis Focus Inc. this year. We are also counting blessings of unanswered prayers; because those placed us as a ministry and family right in the middle of God’s plan. We are counting the blessings of transformation that came through challenging and tough places. These tough places were the catalyst for the transformative blessings that ushered us into a greater and deeper dimension in the spirit realm this year. The tough places were necessary. What God did for us will vary from individual to individual, ministry to ministry and from family to family. Nevertheless, God gets all the glory for all we were able to accomplish. He gave us the wisdom and strength to accomplish them all. We are grateful for everyone that helped Oasis Focus Inc. accomplish all of God’s plan for 2019. - Expanded media forum to at least one million people with the message of hope in Christ in new geographical areas via different networks.
- Published a Bible curriculum for public school educators.
- Awarded 2 high school scholarships in Excellence in Character to graduating seniors with low socio-economic-status.
- Received and processed over 2500 prayer requests.
- Expanded our community engagement both in person and virtually.
- Conducted international conference in Nigeria for equipping leaders with Biblical principles (check out the conference page for updated pictures that we received).
- Christmas community outreach to Children's hospital.
As we get ready to cross over into a new year, a leap year and a new decade, let us focus on God’s blueprint that guarantees God’s outcomes.
