"From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love" (Ephesians 4:16).
A huge thank you to every single person that prayed for our Africa conference that took place last week at the Chapel of Christ the Light in Lagos, Nigeria. God moved and shifted hearts! What a glorious time in God’s presence my beautiful wife and I had with God’s beloved people. Though we were not able to stream the conference sessions, the conference was all recorded by one of the notable media evangelists in Nigeria-Pastor Mayo. Once the videos and conference pictures become available, we will share them on our website for your edification and enjoyment.
On our way back home, God was stirring my spirit about Ephesians 4:16. How He has placed each believer in Christ as part of His team. It is so fulfilling when we live in rhythm with God’s divine order of kingdom growth and building. 1 Peter 2:9 tells us how much God loves His people. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." God loved to the extent of choosing His people. He loved to the extent of ordaining His people into the priesthood. He loved to the extent of consecrating His people as a nation. He loved to the extent of bestowing on His people a privilege of belonging. He loved to the extent of giving His people a new identity. And this extent of God’s love was all made possible through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ with His own life. Without Jesus sacrifice on the cross Ephesians 4:16 would not have been possible. If you are reading this and you are born again, know that God has given you a great privilege that is eternal. To miss this privilege is to have missed everything in life.
The success of the Nigerian conference would not have been possible without a viable body (team) present and doing the hard work in Nigeria. Our mandate was to bring and unite God’s body for the conference. I am glad to report we experienced that from the different denominations and churches represented. To God be the glory! On behalf of Oasis Focus Inc. board members, thank you to our amazing host and hostess- Pastors Stephen and Nike Akerele. They gathered an incredible team covering hospitality, protocol, prayer, facilitators, media and worship. Thank you to everyone that worked tirelessly to make the conference a success to the glory of God. May God continue to increase each of you for the glory of His kingdom. Below are some personal pictures taken by some of the leaders of the Nigerian leadership team on both days of the conference. Many of the leaders pictured are pastors from different churches. The pictures are representative of the different leadership teams that covered the conference. What a testament to Ephesians 4:16. Glory be to God!
From my beautiful wife, our hard-working board of directors, astute advisory board members and dedicated volunteers here at Oasis Focus Inc, we wish you and your families a Very Merry Christmas. We pray this special season will be a time for you to cherish the Wonderful Gift Jesus and unwrap the Gift in a new way in your lives with hearts of thanksgiving.
For The Cause of Christ,
